This is a version for Pocket PC of Caligula, the code is the same as for the PC.
MobileThinker download --> http://www.oocities.com/thechessthinker/
Installation:
--------
1. Copy the engine "Caligula07b.dll" to ThinkerBoard folder within Program Files.
2. You can copy a polyglot opening book also in the ThinkerBoard folder.
3. Edit the file "MobileThinkerBoardCfg.txt" in the folder ThinkerBoard. Add in the engine section one entry for Caligula. You can add arguments.
- hash: 1-16 (default 4)
Engine Caligula07b.dll // engine with 4 MB of hash without opening book
Engine Caligula07b.dll hash 16 // engine with 16 Mb of hash
- book_file: name (default without book)
Engine Caligula07b.dll hash 16 book_file performance.bin // engine with 16 Mb of hash and opening book performace.bin
Note: the hash memory which you can load depends on your machine and the free space you have, if the engine have a problem when loading or within the game then decreases that value.
4. (Optional) Caligula Pocket PC can use the new bitbases of Scorpio (5 men), it is necessary to create a folder called egbb on the memory card (Storage Card) and there you will put the 230 Mb file of bitbases. You need to copy the file "egbbdll.dll" for pocket pc which I include on this folder. With bitbases you should changer memory hash to 4 Mb.
new bitbases scorpio -> http://cap.connx.com/chess-engines/n...roach/egbb.rar (204 Mb)

I think Caligula 0.7b for pocketpc wins DanaSah 4.24 for pocketpc. I could give an ELO approximate of 2350 points.
