kingliveson wrote:Mathias, first, ChessGUI is great for engine/engine testing. As always, I have a couple complaints/requests.
Nothing major, but things to consider when development resumes. Possible the first 2 requests are there and just missed by me.
1. Show material and captured pieces.
2. Show Rank/File.
3. Reduce font size and grid size so more info is visible.
Thanks
p.S. Book sorting is working fine now.
You guys are terrible
.
1) Do you see where to display that material ?
2) You really prefer a smaller board ?
3) I shall try to reduce grid fonts.
Matthias.

Ahh Mathias, and when you are busy maybe you can also put the STS test that Swaminathan using inside the ChessGUI !
That we can test any edp test suite and get a nice output like with STSStat!!

Hi JP,
I think the nice STSStat output is in html format.
I have not yet learned the html format.

So you want the "Total Time Elapsed" under "Infos" to be split up ?
When I see you display a table as in the posted ChessGUI image, I am afraid you have not been in "BigView"
.
If you want to scroll around a lot in "BigView", then pause any on-going game first !!!.
Put bmp or jpg logos in engine folders, and ChessGUI will use them.

The fastest I have tested is "Game in 10 secs", I think.

Not time elapsed but how much time engines spent thinking before a move to be displayed right under the clock (under time left). I thought I was already in BIG VIEW
