Breaking News - 20.02.2025:
Another exciting tour...where this time as participants are own books. yes
The winner SF-SE with amazing performance! Despite on newer releases,
Skynet's old one managed to be Number One..that means a lot really..also
Good points comes by Sallfish, Rebel..Btw, 2 (two ) Eman vers are tested,
As reason, firstly I started with newer, later I realized to test older vers. too,
As you see, not always newer are better...and as you may know, normally
Newer books /newer engine vers should be stronger..at least I expect so..
Anyhow, no problem for my side, enjoy and have fun with latest results..
And is this all? not of course.another interesting tour coming...e.g as next,
Again own books, but will be played by close to GMs strength's engines!
Actually time to time I run own book tours but with engines close to GMs
Strength levels as 1st time I am going to organize..so please stay tuned..

XLI's Own Book Champion: SF-SE - My Congratulations to SkyNet !
Note: Exactly same SF-SE ver is managed to be Champ in BN X too

Breaking News - 22.02.2025:
Well, here is another series of unofficial tours, reason as unofficial due
To mostly of played engines are not so close in strength to each other!
That's why (via these cond.) no way to see which own books are best..
And is it worth to work? spending so many efforts over? yes..because
Fun, learning, strength..is on plus these classic tours are more close to
Human like! E.g I've picked the ones which are close to GMs strength..
And organizing these kind of tours may help for future tours too..Btw,
Some may say: why not via NNUE? Sorry..In short, if each time same:
TOO BORING!) at least for my side.. actually I assume for many too )
And this kind of CS is hard to be organized, in fact, if these tours were
Easy...everyone would run it...right?) Meanwhile, why I say I like that?
For examples, exception that you need to download and install all etc.
All of the engines come with special settings...since many various eng
Settings are needed to be configured but as usual, I've done my best!
Besides some engines are not so stable..such as time forfeits etc. e.g
Arasan 15.1 (including older vers), Shredder 7 + v7.04 forfeits on time,
Sure not always but the mentioned Arasan eng versions are buggy but
In overall, it seems almost all stable..plus I noticed no any crash so far..
Note also that I still work over it.. but as next, I started with ones which
Are close to Fruit 2.1's engine strength..and in the next days, I hope to
Organize a newer tour, but before... I need to be 100% sure regarding
Which are those ones, actually I know many but I''m looking for more..)
E.g according to latest strength tests (with Unique book for all engines),
, Junior 10.1 stronger than Fruit 2.1, but in the current tour: Junior's own
Book is playing as serious role about why is rated much lower, weaker..
Yes..a lot of mysteries in our hobby..but you'll never know until you try..!
But I admit too that Fruit's own book is not so strong too..otherwise via
Better, an updated book I expect Fruit 2.1 to be in higher ranks..or other
Good example, Gogobello 1.3 is weaker than many engines, but 11th..
Reason? definitely its own strong book is helped..ok dear chess friends
That's all for now..thank you very much for your interest, see you later )

Book + Engine Leader: Hiarcs 10 - Congratulations to Hiarcs team!
Note: Hiarcs 10 is played with a custom built book, based on GMs..
