Heimdall 1.1.1 wins Lucas Amateur Engines, 22.10.2024
https://chessengines.blogspot.com/2024/ ... gines.html

Lucas Chess (GUI) program and another amateur chess engine tournament. This time there were 10 of them, but we did a little experiment. Tcheran 4.0 played twice, which meant that he would play himself in the tournament. And he even won against himself 😁(we are posting the game).
Stay tuned for more tests and results on our website.

Chess Engines Diary Rating Cup 10/2024 - quarterfinal: Stockfish 17 - Alexandria-7.0.0
https://chessengines.blogspot.com/2024/ ... 24_23.html

The first quarterfinal match of the Chess Engines Diary Rating Cup 10/2024 has ended. The Stockfish 17 engine won, but it was a minimal victory. In addition, as you will see in the game, it was a "technical victory" because the Alexandria-7.0.0 engine lost on time after just a few moves. It was most likely some bug at the engine-GUI interface.
The next matches are ongoing, the results will be on our website soon.
