SF-PRO 29.07.2024 wins CEDR Swiss Tournament, 05.08.2024

The "small" Swiss tournament was won by the SF-PRO 29.07.2024 chess engine. On places 2 to 4 engines: Steel Fighter III, Caissa 1.20 and Stockfish dev-20240728.

Interesting results! Yuliana 5.0 has shown its strength again, but we can't forget about Stockfish, which is still holding strong. Maybe it's worth analyzing their strategies? I'm curious about what algorithm changes will be introduced in future versions. Looking forward to the ranking ;)

Two engines, Yuli GM Pro 16 and SF-PRO 29.07.2024 at the head of another test tournament of new versions of chess engines. Places 3-4 were taken by engines Stockfish dev-20240723 and Stockfish dev-20240728.

Yuliana 5.0 is already listed on the ranking list - she has 3771.5, which is 14 points less than Stockfish 20240711 Ivec. The ranking table as of August 1, 2024 is at: https://chessengines.blogspot.com/2024/ ... diary.html

Successful tournament for three engines: CorChess 4.5 dev-20240724, JigSaw 5.9 and Steel Fighter III. In the tournament we tested 28 new versions of chess engines.

Raid 3.6 TR and Stockfish Ivec 20240723 wins Big Tournament new chess engines, 2024.08.06

Another very large tournament - 1740 games!
The first two places with the same points were taken by Raid 3.6 TR and Stockfish Ivec 20240723 engines. Places 3-5 were taken by SF-PRO 29.7.24, Yuliana 5.0 and JigSaw 5.9 engines.

Stockfish 16.1 wins Fritz Strong Engines Test, by CEDR 04-08.08.2024

Another test tournament played in GUI-Fritz 17 was won by Stockfish 16.1 - the official version. This engine won the most victories with weaker engines and drew all games with engines - derivatives of Stockfish. In 2nd place the CorChess 4.5 dev-20240724 engine and in 3rd place the Stockfish dev-20240728 engine.

Steel Fighter III and Yuliana 5.0 wins another chess tournament of new versions of powerful chess engines. Place 3-4 was taken by Marauders 3.8 and Stockfish dev-20240803 Ivec engines.

You write that you like Swiss tournaments. Hence another tournament with 16 engines and a "chess" number of games - 64. The first three places were taken by the SF-PRO 05.08.2024, Stockfish 20240803 Ivec and Marauders 3.8 engines - the order was decided by auxiliary scoring.

Stockfish 20240803 Ivec wins another test tournament of new versions of chess engines. It must be admitted that Ivan Ivec does a good job and his Stockfish builds are strong. In 2-3 place Stockfish 16.1 (official version) and HypnoS 030824.
