wins only bin book

Hi, i would like some help please i created a bin book on wins with a book creator when i open the white wins book in scid pc it just shows the first moves eg if i click on the shown 1.e4 then nothing i'm i doing something wrong or can you only do this sort of bin creation in scid and if so how thanks.

if you created the book with white wins only then yes the book will show lines of white alone.

if you created with white and black wins, and on the first move is 1. e4 and when you click e4 it shows nothing it means that black doesnt have victories after 1. e4


REMEMBER: when you create a book with wins the book only take the moves from the winning side.

lets say white won with this line

on the book
it will appear like this:

I just don't know which book maker you are using. But there's an Eman book maker. Lets say you have a database having wins for both colours and draws.

The book maker will create white and black wins book (wb.bin) , D.bin (draw book) and Eman.bin (a combination of wb.bin and D.bin)

There's also another one by massimilliano goi, which will also enable one to merge


So to answer your question yes. You could first separate white wins and black and draw and merge the final product to your liking but the Eman book maker does that for you in one try.

But you must first check your database, you might find that some games were won on time. I have worked alot with lichess database thats why i created that tool to separate the timeloss games aside.
