SF CorChess

Post by Triton6654 » Fri Jan 12, 2024 12:53 am

Engine with Random Op. MultiPV mode --> Options. The default value is 5 for best analyses. In my ENET-2023 test, the engine on 6 cores managed 107 of 110 solutions: with MultiPV=5. For gaming I recommend set this value to 2. Value 1 corresponds to the original CorChess code. All Stockfish updates until January 1st 2024 are implemented. Further features: MinimumThinkingTime, Slow Mover and external network.

SF Corrchess is another great chess engine. Here too, I really can't wait for an update. Does anyone know if that update might be required soon?

Don’t run so fast. Let’s slow and walk with us.
We are not as bad as it seems.

Of course I will walk quietly with you into the chessfuture. But you understand hopely that I would like to try out the best of both worlds, stockfish and corrchess, in a new version. I'm not really in a hurry, but I would like to know when a new update will be released, precisely because CoolIris performs so convincingly in the analyses of ERET and other tests!!

I understand your interest. We are waiting for authors of engines too. Although I am not optimistic about Sf corchess engine. Because it’s authors is completely unpredictable. Sometimes starts a project with so much propaganda and very soon stops it, without logical reason. But I hope at least we would see an update of Cool iris engine by Anton 101(A. Ces) very soon.
Best regards
