Hi Mr. Sedat
Hope you have a wonderful new year too. Many thanks for your interesting activities and this new, great new book tour. Without any doubt , changing the operator engine of tournament is a clever idea. Which can cause all the participant book makers, being more satisfied. They can compare the results made by different operator engines. Now by starting your activities I can say the forum is complete again. I hope that in new year we would have other active members in different parts of forum too. We need it for sure.
Best regards and wishes to you and your family.
Thanks a lot for your valuable comments...

Breaking News - 06.01.2024:
A BIG update 28 entries and as usual standings, draw stats etc changed too
Actually quite normal...you know more better...e.g mostly Top books contain
Over than 1000+ games (per player) and now is more clear, which Engines,
Books are Stronger more Drawish.. and just out of curiosity Everest book
Via Kayra 1.5 engine is played too, yes...the overall draw difference is huge!
Btw, Kayra is almost identical in strength to the both ShachChess and Zeus
So it's very clear that, Everest + Kayra produced about 7% less draw values..
And why less draws? ok.. here is the answer: mainly due to Book Settings,
Because both ShachChess and Zeus prefer to play more various openings
Sure as other reason, Kayra engine seems to be more Aggressive, better
Dynamic style of play and now some may ask: why Kayra is not used for all
Well, for some reasons, e.g Kayra vs Kayra book matches are too Drawish
Actually this is also true Zeus vs Zeus or ShachChess vs ShachChess are
Too Drawish too...I mean much higher than the current overall draw values...
In other words, I preferred as main engines ShachChess and Zeus due to
Both engines are used to play more various openings (sure when BM OFF)
Of course, in my next book tours... I may use Kayra as main engine as well..
And let Me say a few words about the current Leading book: DON Hercules
Via current title, only as Hercules vers. managed to be 6-times Champion!!
And to be honest, I can't remember any better, greater record.'best of best' !
Btw, I did not count rest gained DON Champ titles, but believe Me too many..
Sometimes I wonder: how 5 months old opening lines can be so so strong.?
If still no so clear: WHO WİLL STOP 'DON HERCULES '?)
Sure, Red Dragon, ORIONPAX, OPTIMUS, EVEREST etc are great as well
Frankly I am impressed a lot also by Red Dragıon's low draw ratio, just 88%
Note also that as next new entry: Unicornio 2 book will be participant..it will
Be played (as alternative) by Kayra 1.5 engine too so later we can compare..
Meanwhile, for my all previous postings about current championship News

Private Champion: DON Hercules - Congratulations to Vasid Chouhan!
Public Champion: OPTIMUS - Congratulations to Roger Constantinesco!

Latest SCCT B/N XXV's Strength Test Results:

1 Elo Difference:

Code: Select all

1 Zeus 26.5 +43/-40/=917 50.15% 501.5/1000
2 ShashChess 32 +40/-43/=917 49.85% 498.5/1000
-----------------------------------------------------
2 Elo Difference (in both tests):

Code: Select all

1 Zeus 26.5 +30/-26/=544 50.33% 302.0/600
2 Kayra 1.5 +26/-30/=544 49.67% 298.0/600

1 Kayra 1.5 +20/-17/=563 50.25% 301.5/600
2 ShashChess 32 +17/-20/=563 49.75% 298.5/600
GAMES:
https://mega.nz/file/S4R2zK6B#d-yCZbk3r ... ZXgc0eoYRs

Some Notes:
Zeus 25.5 engine is played via own nn.zeus file,
Where Kayra 1.5 played with nn-335a9b2d8a80.nnue
And ShashChess 32 with nn-ad9b42354671.nnue file

Otherwise, just in case of using default Evalfiles,
For example, then ShachChess 32 performs stronger..
For this reason, via my current setup.. they are very
Close in points, I mean almost identical in strength!

Btw, for anyone missed, interested, before start...
Just for the current new BOOK / NNUE XXV CS:
I've tested over than 100+ Top NNUE engines...
And I managed to produce 40.000 strength games!
Yes... this is not as joke... many have no clue...
Really...but I am pretty sure also in that,
Still there are good chess friends, who pay
Attention to my activities....and without them,
SCCT would not excist... thanks a lot again!

Btw, what a pitty that, there are also such guys,
Without any reason.. they blame SCCT's used engines..
Such as I use wrong conditions.... maybe that's why
They can not be as frequent Number Ones ?)
Ok.. now you have a chance... not Raubfish, not Cfish...
I use Zeus and ShachChess..let's see how good you are?!
But as we see, even via latest tour: again DON is Ledidng...
Maybe, the real, actual problem is DON ??)) just tell Me.. ))

Remember that too,
There is one way... work harder...and just do not
GIVE UP...sooner or later.. the success is in door!
If other/s managed to do that...why not you ?)

What I can say more over latest tested 100+ engines:
Almost all of them are super strong... really... but
One small point, which is one of most important:
They produced very very high draw percentages !!
E.g many of them performed close to 98%-99% draws..
And these high-draw values via Bullet cond. 1m+0.5s
Just imagine.. if via Blşitz, Rapid TC + MP+ Ponder ON...
Very likely almost all games will be ended as draw !!

And without to not mention this I can not as well,
As usual, several latest NNUE engines are crashed...
This is already known...due to high concurrency...
But these crashes are related with learning engines!
Even disabling their learning... they crash again...
It seems the programmers have difficulties to fix..
Very sad...I assume many of them are aware, but...

But I admit also that,
Mostly of my tested Top engines are very stable!
No any single crash is recorded....

Continuing....(about high draw percentages)

Sure, mostly engines are not as main reason, the real
Problem is in the Evalfiles.... and no doubt that too:
E.g the NNUE (Evalfiles) bring better/stronger quality!
But in same time, they kill the fun! did you know that?
At least I'm talking for my side...not sure about you ?!)
But I am sure in that exc. Me, many are affecting too!
Because almost all People love to see many wins ...right ?)
Plus, almost all People also love to see many games (per player)
Otherwise, the Error Elo margin can be very very high...
Just saying...

In other words,
if we'll pick one of the latest strongest Evalfiles..
The situation seems to be terrible..really...
Too much boring chess for sure...now you may blame
My current conditions too... but can you offer
Something better?... I'd be happy to hear...thanks )
If you can not.. please...
Btw, if possible via many many strength engine games..
Only via comments.. you may know.. too boring too!

And as final words (to be more clear),
I mean all about in case of running book tours!

And I hope all the current posting to be useful..

Ok.. that's all for now, thanks for reading!

Greetings )

Not at all dear Tanick...

Yes.. you know,
I just realized to share my experience with all of you!

Btw, just one example,
Like in SF-SCCT engine strength testings...e.g
To find which one is most close to Raubfish SC,
I played over than 10.000 strength games ..e.g
I used different Evalfiles etc and etc

Sure with you great help...otherwise
All my work would not exist too!

And no doubt that too
You are one of the best programmers!
Besides you are very kind...and
We need more people like you!

Continuing.... )

On other hand,
Just for the current/latest new strength testings:
Only for Kayra: I played over than 6000-7000 games
Same words going for many Zeus engine versions
For ShachChess even over than 10.000 games
Of course, also I tested many other eng versions,
Yes many are close in strength, but more Drawish...

Or some of my tested engines are weaker, some stronger...
Really too complicated work... But when you love chess:
All this job is a soft touch....
As you know, the easy things everyone can do...
The most important, who can manage to do the hard work, right ?)

Btw, a few more words about the latest engine crashes:
Only a few engines crashed, but not so so frequent..
So this is not as most important..sure will be better if all
To be stable... but I think that we can live with that too )

Have a nice weekend )
