Update

Via latest entry (SF-Poly 220723): Eman is again Champ..(+0.5 point over SpecTral)
Be aware of that the same 40 (forty) openings used, which played in recent tour..
And I picked especially those openings, which managed to win as White+ Black,
But players which are close to 3750+ Elo..actually all Unique openings created
In same way...but other rest openings are based on 3700+ (White+Black's wins)
Ok..friends, BIG thanks and congratulations to all authors..keep up the good work

XXXX's Champion: Eman 9.51 - Congratulations to Khalid Omar, SF team!

For FINAL Standings:

GAMES:
https://mega.nz/file/zswnTbaS#qH7N0u4Ym ... Z8PGjPdIlQ

Best,
Sedat
Just like any other average human,, every engine has its day😂. Congratulations to Eman

Agreed...

Yes.. even older Eman engine ver is performed very well too:
https://sites.google.com/site/computers ... t-nn-cs-34

So it seems in eng learning competitions,
Eman engine series are doing very good...!

Btw, a small note,
Just in case if we use stronger openings..
Then the situation is changing...it is a mystery..
Regarding who will be Champion...

In other words,
Via strong openings... learning does not play as serious role!

Greetings )
I believe it does Mr Sedat. if Raid for example is playing against engine x in a certain opening 1st game might be a draw, second game provided exp book is off Raid will follow his approach but where he had two moves to consider on the previous game this time he will take the other option b2n the two option. idk if am clear or am throwing you away? the 2nd, 3rd, 4th....etc game(s) will be more difficult for the opponent since he will be switching ideas taking other options each time there was a fail (in previous games).
i was constructing some sicilian line using AbbyStein.
1: AbbyStein v2_avx2 4.0 / 8 XXXX 1==0 1010 (+3 -3 =2)
2: ShashChess34-x86-64-avx2 2.0 / 6 0==1 XXXX **.. (+1 -1 =2)
3: SF-POLY_x86-64_avx2 2.0 / 6 0101 **.. XXXX (+2 -2 =0)

in case of tournaments it depends on the gui settings regarding the openings that must be played by engines, Arena for example plays one opening for the entire round for all engines, banksia you have to set it up and as for Cutechess that one in tournaments i only do gantlet.

Sure..but I am not talking about GUI settings...

Well, a few more words about eng learning...

Sure I am talking in general...

This time,
I will try in other, but in a very simple way... )
Let's say, we are traveling...via automobile...
And we preferred the road, which has no much defects, holes etc.
Just in case...you will have less chances to make accident..

And now lets come back to chess.. )

In other words,
if you use critical, weaker openings..then:
The eng learning may help to see those holes in next re-run..

That's why...in all latest serious EXP Duels, Book Tours etc.
The Exp players performed worse than strongest opening books!

But if I run a tour, based on critical, weak openings etc.
Let's say strong Exp fiiles vs Depth4_Deeds book
Or any other book, to be based on weak lines e.g UHO openings etc.
Then very likely the strong EXP file players will perform better...
Just do not ask why... ?)

Hope helps.. )

Hello Chess Friends,

As usual, I am very pleased to announce that,
Just another new NNUE Championship is started...

What's new:
A newer Unique opening suite is used... more strength / openings added..
Btw, for anyone missed: Unique suite is based on openings, where each line
Managed to win...(sure I am referring close to 3750+ as White and Black)
As reference..over than 204.306 SCCT games used..played by Top engines

Note also that,
The tourney's target will be to test mainly 3700+ Elo chess engines
Plus in this competition: all engines allowed (Private plus Public)
So any known Programmer who is interested can submit a chess engine...
Be aware of that also only up to 75% (in similarity) will be participated!
More info very soon...and please stay tuned )

Breaking News (27.10.2023):
Just another new championship started..with Top engines of mainly 3700+ Elo
What's new in this competition: Private engines are allowed as players as well
Sure in case of interest... any known author may submit a Top private engine!
Meanwhile, we have a new Champ - Brainlearn, with outstanding performance!
And if I am not wrong, BrainLearn as 1st time managed to be SCCT Champion!
Btw, a new tour idea born: the high rated players.. will be qualified into planing
New Blitz CS, which will be organized soon as possible and please stay tuned,
Because very soon a BIG update (with many more engine entries) is coming...

The Champion BrainLearn - Congratulations to K. Kiniama, A. Manzo, SF team!
