Note (Eduard): The network used by Brainlearn 25.2 and ShashChess 33.2 is identical to Stockfish 16. The newer NNUE networks of "SF dev" with Dimension 2048, are no longer compatible with Stockfish 16 and cannot be used with Brainlearn 25.2 and ShashChess 33.2.

I could make a modification and implement the new NNUE with dimension 2048 if desired here?

By the way, the new tool from Ibai Burgos doesn't work for me on Windows 10. When I start the EXE, nothing happens, no window opens, etc. Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hello Eduard, I am the author of the tool, what problem do you have with it? Did you follow the "how to use it" steps?

Remember it is not a GUI, it is a cli-based tool.

You should use it in the following way for instance:

1. Place the executable of experience_tracker and your experience file in the same folder
2. Open a CMD window in the same folder you have both things
3. Type the following:

Code: Select all

experience_tracker.exe experience.exp

After you execute that, a folder called readable_exp will be created with 2 txt files in which you can see some of your experience data converted to "human readable" format. A file called experience_fixed.exp will be created too which is the experience file corrected.

If you have any further problems tell me, I'll help you.

I have just made a new release, v0.0.2, which also lets you defrag BrainLearn / ShashChess like experience files with an specific minimum depth you can manually enter.

still nothing happens to me. I have the same as eduart. The window closes immediately after opening.

I get an empty folder called readable_exp and nothing happens.

experience.bin changed to experience.exp
