Nakamura will play Komodo in an odds match on January 6th and 7th. It can be viewed on Chess.com or their Twitch channel.

They (both the Komodo team and Chess.com) have been preparing for this with matches against lower-rated GMs at higher odds.
Nakamura has some pre-match comments, including that an even score is his goal. Kaufman's thoughts are also given, where he similarly tries to downplay their chances.
Of course such a match will also bring out a lot of trolls who amplify the noise, but it seems there is reasonable interest in the event.
