Hello Martin.
Congratulations for the wonderful tournament.
To honor the memory of Don Dailey, however I would like to ask you if you could dedicate to him the next editions of the TCEC.
I think many people would agree with this idea.
Thanks

Hi Luigi. I am extremely sad about these news since I have been involved with Don for some time now regarding TCEC.
In what way would you propose to dedicate the next Season to him?
Best,
Martin

Perhaps it would be enough to change the title of the upcoming tournaments in "TCEC Don Dailey Memorial Tournament," or something like that.
However, I see that the two engines are already honoring the memory of Don giving a great show.
It is true that they are only machines and programs, but it seems that they have a soul ...
thanks
Luigi

It's over. Komodo defeated Stockfish in the final (by 2 points).
It's a shame Don is not here anymore. He would have been proud to see this, after the endless efforts he put into Komodo.
Don passes away, but his legacy lives on!
