glass 1.8 released

- bugfixes, including important one in See that caused occasional crashes
- lmr changes
- massive parameter tuning by Louis Smith (thank You!)
- search rewritten in the iterative manner (preparation for multiprocessor support, er hope to have it in 2.0 version)

as usual, Glass comes with the bundle of personalities, useful whether You want to crush Glass the Coward or to be torn apart by Glass The Aggressive.

this version might be slower on 32-bit processors and therefore weaker in very short games, but it overtakes previous version at longer time controls.

Thanks Pawel. Just for the record, do you have an approximate idea of strength increase versus 1.7?

I hope you don't mind I answer for Pawel, but from my testing Glass 1.8 is about 25 Elo stronger than Glass 1.7. I usually test at shorter time controls games/30 seconds so I guess it could actually be anywhere from 15-40 Elo stronger depending on the time control.
