SSDF

Post by lmader » Fri May 13, 2011 2:49 am

Forgive me if this has been covered and I missed it, but... is the SSDF truly dead? I never saw an RIP, and there is no info about their status on their website. But it's been a long time since there has been an update to their rating list. WTF?

Ok, now I just feel ignorant. What does that mean? You received one via email today? One what? A new rating list? How do I gain the benefit of these emails? Oh, I feel so out of it. Woe is me.

Maybe by paying an annual fee?

You had the bad luck to wonder about an update approximately 2 days after it was updated. http://ssdf.bosjo.net/list.htm

Code: Select all

120010 games played by 311 computers

The Swedish Ratinglist may be quoted in other magazines, but we insist that this will be done in a correct way! We expect, that not only the rating figures, but also the number of games and the margin of error will be quoted.

Not a great gain for R4 over R3, though the error margins are large. There's also the theory that R4 lacks standard contempt.
