Deep Junior 12.5 not defined in Fritz interface?

Post by AnthonyTheSage » Sun Apr 17, 2011 7:23 am

Trying to run a tourney with Deep Junior Versus Fritz. I keep getting an error message Deep Junior 12.5 not defined. Does anybody have similar issues or know how to fix this? Junior seems to work in the analysis and the engine match mode, just not the tournament mode. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Wish I could help, but I don’t have Junior or Fritz.

From Graham Banks via Google Chat:
"tell him he needs to find the 1kb uci file and edit the name to something shorter like Deep Junior 12.5.0.2"

Shortening the name in the uci file seems to be the answer. Thanks for the help. Cheers.
