Reassess your Chess, 4th Edition

Post by Jeremy Bernstein » Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:30 pm

My copy of this just arrived in the mail on Saturday, and I've started going through it. I noticed a thread on Immortal about a thread on chessvideos.tv doing a book club. Unfortunately, they are a) going a bit fast and b) started several weeks ago. But I thought we could steal the idea, and try to do that here, since I think I'll get much more out of the book in discussions with others than alone at my desk, and I could imagine that others feel the same way.

Any takers? Stealing a stolen idea is a little lame, of course, but I won't support stealing books by taking part in the discussion at Immortal.

Sounds like a good idea to me, I'd be interested.

Cool. 2 participants make a book club. Do you have the book already? Let me know when you do, and we can start going through it.

One difficulty with this idea is that everyone has different goals in their chess development. But I hope it works out for you guys!

Well, by luck, Jeremy and I are roughly equal in rating, so it should be interesting at least.

I will have the book by Friday.
