AN ANNOTATED LOOK AT HOUDINI'S IMMORTAL GAME

Post by notyetagm » Mon Feb 21, 2011 8:15 pm

NM Dennis Monokroussos has provided excellent annotations for Houdini's Immortal Game,
the 3-pawn sacrifice game it played against Rybka at TCEC.

When has a chess engine ever sacrificed 3(!!!) pawns in a game for positional compensation?

An incredible achievement by Houdart's Houdini 1.5a engine.
