Fantastic. Not only the best free chess app but easily rivals the commercial ones. The board looks fantastic, I'll be messing with this thing all night, thanks!

For android there is droidfish, it was compiled by a different person so you should ask him.
Re: Stockfish for iPad
No, at least not in the near future. Of course we would like to offer an Android version, but we're just a small group of amateurs with limited time for programming, and none of us currently own an Android phone. Supporting every platform is - unfortunately - not realistic at the moment.Macarel wrote:Can android users expect the same app soon?
But as tano-urayoan points out above, there is an Android app named Droidfish by Peter Österlund, which uses the Stockfish engine.

Well... droidfish doesn't seem to have the same stunning graphics as the iphone app but I'll give it a go if I ever receive that damn chinese android tablet I ordered like, on the 30th of october...
Thanks for the answers!

Hi Tord, I wish there was an arrow key at the bottom to take back moves, go forward. It's bit of an effort to click "Move" tab and then click take back when I want to go back several moves.
Other than that it's of top notch!
