tablebases with Houdini

Post by jeandis » Mon Aug 02, 2010 12:30 pm

How can I do to run the tablebase as triplebases or Nalimov (3 to 5 mens)?

jeandis, Houdini currently doesn't support endgame tablebases.

Yes I know Robert, but there is no way to do that? playing and reading Nalimov of triplebases? Does Houdini stronger and faster if it reads tablebases?
Do you think in the future in modifying the program incorporating the tablebases?
Thank in advance.

No, there's currently no way of making Houdini use data from tablebases.
I do intend to include egtb at some point in the future, either Gaviota or Nalimov-style.

How about a pocket Houdini?
