Houdini 1.03 is available

Post by Robert Houdart » Thu Jul 15, 2010 10:56 pm

The new Houdini 1.03 is available.
Download from http://www.cruxis.com/chess/houdini.htm .

Houdini 1.03 extends the UCI features of the engine with multi-PV analysis, search moves and large memory page support.
The web page contains some explanation of how to use large page support on Windows Vista/7 64-bit.

The evaluation function of Houdini 1.03 is somewhat stronger than previously, I hope you'll enjoy this new release.

Cheers,
Robert

Hello Robert,

Thank You! 8-)

My main analysis Engine is, since the first version of Houdini, of course Houdini. My favorite GUI is Shredder Classic. With the new feature now (MV-Modus) it will be very nice. I hope, that I can bring for you any interesting analyses.

ED.
Peace be with you!

Thank you Robert, you did it today exactly as you had promised.

Unfortunately the version Houdini_x64_POPCNT_8CPU has not been updated, can you check it please? Thnx again.

All files have been updated, there must be some caching issue between the server and your browser.

I'd better rename the files so that there cannot be any conflict, give me 5 minutes...

Hi, Robert! What are your next plans about Houdini?
Can we wait for Tbs support in the next releases of your excellent engine?
To beat Rybka 4 steadily we need TBs, I think Gaviota TBs will be good enough to it!
