From Stefan Pohl Site :
The author of Obsidian told me, he will pause the development of Obsidian and asked me, if I would do a testrun of the final version (for now). I agreed, but mentioned, the latest Obsidian should be available for all computerchess-fans. So, he made some binaries (avx2, avx512) and allowed me, to offer a download. You can download the new Obsidian 12.29 (temporarely from my Google Drive) right here

Or you can download these files from Mediafire here

Now in version 12.29 we can see very reliable engine. Powerful and more important than strength is correct evaluation of positions resulted from different openings. Hope that Mr. Lombardo continues this engine project. Now at version 12.29 I can say obsidian is really a chess engine. We can use it for analysis too. I doubt about it’s aggressiveness. Because in most of NNUE engines, when they get positionally stronger, this factor decreases. I will wait for Stefan Pohl EAS test.

Couldn't even the modern or sse4.1 version be compiled? How these developers treat us, as if they live in their own world, and there are more and more of them, in fact.
