Hi Eduard Nemeth!

I really like to use Leptir Analyzer when playing analysis. When I checked Sun 1.1, I felt it was not as good as Leptir Analyzer, even though Leptir has been released for a long time.

Sun 1.1 is basically CorChess dev. I only implemented some features like self learning etc. Sun 1.1 uses the current SF dev network with dimension 2048. This engine contains only known Stockfish codes. Leptir Analyzer uses a network with dimension 1024 from 2022. Also, Leptir Analyzer contains some search codes that are not found in any other SF dev. version. I've also implemented some code from Fishcooking into Leptir Analyzer, ones that were never officially used in Stockfish. If you like Leptir Analyzer better, use this engine! :-)

Where can I download Leptir Analyzer ?
Thank you.

I had released Leptir Analyzer early March 23. The engine could be downloaded until the end of June 2023. I published my tests with all engines at least once a week in the well-known forums (especially on Talkchess) - and also on my homepage.

All my engines that I tested (Leptir ranked #1) could be downloaded and anyone could test for themselves if my results were correct. That was also the reason why I offered the engines for download.

I ended my test series at the end of June. I saw no reason to continue making my Enginers available for download. I actually developed Leptir Analyzer for myself, for my own analysis. I'm looking into the engines because I wasn't always happy with Stockfish. Sometimes I also missed important features in Stockfish for games on the servers (MinimumThinkingTime, books). That's the reason why I deal with engines - and not because I want to make myself important to others. I assumed that in the 3 months since Leptir Analyzer was available for download, everyone who was interested in the engine downloaded the engine. The currently provided engines essentially contain well-known codes. Sun eg. based on CorChess but "CorChess original" offers no books, no Minimum ThinkingTime, and no learning. I like CorChess but I also want to have some features, that's why I developed Sun.

Why is MinimumThinkingTime important?

Here is an example from the server PlayChess. In a time trouble duel, White blundered here on move 159. e4 {0.00/1}. Depth 1 in 0s often results in blunder. That's why you should always play online on servers with MinimumThinkingTime, I use 100ms.

If Leptir Analyzer occupies the 3rd line and it is being played, then it is a pity that it cannot be downloaded at the moment.

This is not Leptir Analyzer which was available for download in March. This is Leptir Analyzer 2, a completely different engine - different search with my new own ideas. The other engines like MZ Series, Eman, Dark Sister, ProteusSF are also not available for download. I actually only make this my engine for myself. Why should I make my own ideas (source code) available for others to read my code, but I can't read their code?

Here is a game. Stockfish dev blundered at move 33 (black). My engine would not have played this move and immediately found the win (+1). My engine played with Ryzen 2700 and was slower than the opponent.

I'm really sorry guys, but I love playing on the server. Then this guy comes and brags all day, many months on the server:

He hasn't won a single (!) game on the server yet, not a game:
Image

He does the same thing on Lichess too. As long as such people make themselves important, I will fight against such people. This also means that I don't publish any source code of my latest engine. I'm sorry.
