ChessGUI 0.228 is out

- optionally play out TB mates

- display correct Nalimov distance to mate again
(was wrong in recent releases, GaviotaTB was not broken)

I'm rather new to the ChessGUI feature.

I noticed in knockout tournaments, when a match ends in a tie, the match isn't repeated. Rather, a different tie-breaker is used (the higher rating advances?)

Is there a way to enable repeating matches in case of a tie?

Yes, the higher rated engine advances. The current infrastructure does not yet permit tie-breaker games.
BTW, knockout pairings use Swiss algorithm.

Will a tie-breaker feature be added in future versions?

I think so.

Matthias, Ive had an issue where engines couldnt analyze or make their move when I was scrolling something in the interface. Also, it could have happened at times when there was high CPU or memory usage. This resulted in Komodo losing its game on time at Move 118

This could be corrected by replaying the game, but its not available in swiss mode.

ChessGUI is indeed unstable if mouse button is pressed too long. A bugfix is planned.
Pause game in "Commands" tab before scrolling around.

To replay a Swiss game, *.s1e and schedule files in TOURNAMENT folder must be edited (now still manually).

ChessGUI 0.229 focussed on Swiss.

ChessGUI 0.230 and TLCV

- In TLCV mode, ChessGUI creates a file TLCV_File.txt in OUTPUT folder.
- Give TLCV_File.txt as a Winboard/Arena debug file to TLC Server.

If the broadcast works, let me know.
