My only non-default setting is the tablebase path: in my case z:\documents\schach\tablebases\gaviota\chess4fun wrote:a) I am using, windows 7 64 bit, custom gui, tb path c:\gtb
b) I have observed ram, and used a test position.
btw can I have a screenshot of ur settings so I may try
Stockfish isn't getting to depth 229 by itself without the aid of tablebases. So it sounds like it's working -- you might have incorrect assumptions about the RAM usage.chess4fun wrote:Jeremy, she instantly displays mate 115, however i notice in RAM no tablebase loaded.
Isn't that what ComStock is? I don't use RobboBases (first of all, I have no idea which ones are buggy or not, second of all, there's no official place to download them AFAIK, third of all, I don't use any of the engines that support them on any regular basis), so there is exactly a 0% chance of me adding this to the source. If someone else wants to add support, they're more than welcome to, of course.veritas wrote:another exellent engine i would love to see supporting Robobases (old)
not exactly no , your stockfish is stronger than official version and its not because of the the bases as i don't use themJeremy Bernstein wrote:Isn't that what ComStock is?
