This is a difficult question: 'Which Ivan is the strongest'.
At least there are different candidates, all can be found somewhere in the Ivan thread on immortal.

The annoying thing about IPPO development in general is that it all comes down to miniscule tweaks and miniscule ELO differences, mostly due to compiler switches or piece weights. Why isn't anyone trying/testing changes to analysis or search?
One of the interesting things I've observed, as I run the Strategic Test Suite on IPPOLIT and other engines: IPPOLIT scores better across the board. Was knowledge removed from IPPOLIT on its journey to Robbolito -> Igorrit -> IvanHoe and beyond?

its NOT difficult at all
Peter Pants Mod12c still rules and his Mod13 is in wings
see our forum for screen shots of it (Mod12c )beating the next best engines Houdini and weep rykba 4 tune less , allbeit narrowely , no other ivan is as consistantly good at all levels of tc
immortal smchmortals has cliques and favourites , we test all ivans vrs all derivates and get banned for posting FACT not fiction ..Fire is weak in comparisom to several IvanHoes, and weak compared to Houdini,,,
ps we quite agree Ippolit still holds something very special

According to my tests mini10 is better than all other Ivans and Fire series but it's very difficult to know exactly how much since we have myriad of compiles of Ivans.

in all our tests mini 10 has never beaten mod12c ,plus two soon to be released ivans also beat it ,and houdini developx64 8 core also beats it , if anything despite the margines being narrow we would say mini11 is better than 10 but as we use AMD and know intel can produce different result when same engines are tested we can only truly say this applies to AMD , and yes there are very many compiles but the main compilers are not so many, maybe half a dozen very good ones and peter pants has consistanly produced the best , vlad0 is another of the best and has overcome the isues that plauged the IvanHoe63Mod5Ub compiles , these are the two who we would say will produce the next best versions though there are others very capable of surprising us all
in truth they do need a helping hand from the decemberists and that will be forth comeing...in the soon..retain your stubbins

Is there a Linux 64-bit compile for this engine somewhere? Windows 64-bit binaries won't work on Linux (which I run).
Thanks!
