In the case of a concurrency > 1 with EXP files, well before the amount of RAM becomes a problem, it seems to me that it is the reading rate of the HDD/SSD which will immediately pose a problem !...for example, too much RAM
Required..sure in case of EXP tests via concurrent matches,
But here..RAM issue can not be problem, since my tournament
Machine has plenty of RAM installed: 256 GB
Concurrency : 4
Exp file : 500 MB
=> min RAM : 8 GB of RAM (reminder : Khalid advised 2 GB of RAM per EXP file)
=> min reading rate : 2 GBPS (reminder : hdd = 220 MBPS, ssd = 550 MBPS, etc.)
Concurrency : 8
Exp file : 500 MB
=> min RAM : 16 GB of RAM
=> min reading rate : 4 GBPS (need a pcie ssd or a raid of ssd)
If several engines read/write on the same EXP file at the same time, good luck to avoid to corrupt it...
