Progress is being made. I have manged to get it about 25 Elo weaker than the unmodified source. Bonuses, penalties, and king safety are being worked on. Playing Ok with longer time but not as good in very fast time.

hi KLO

There seems to be a problem with your RobboBase setup then,as i can not reproduce this problem when only 6 men TripleBases are loaded or even when both 6 men TripleBases(and i have the full set) and 5 men Totalbases are loaded
I cannot reproduce this problem with the example you have given with Ivanhoe B47d,Ivanhoe B47e,and Ivanhoe B47f0.2.I did not check with older compilations, but with these 3 all is fine and i cannot reproduce your bug.

EDIT:i re-uploaded image 1 cause i forgot to show the TBhits in arena,so i ran test again showing the hits to avoid confusion

Thanks for all the tests robbolito! Do you think it would be better to create another IvanHoe XX.XX.XX thread on the tournament section or just keep everything here to see if progress is being made?

@ PeterPan, something strange is definitely going and could be on my end.

Houdini prunes pawns like no other -- knows when to go in deep; in general, its pruning is superb. It takes a while for other engines to see this position.

Things are on the right track... Yesterday, I gained about 25 Elo less than the original source, and now, it seems to be about 15. :)
