First of all, thanks for your tournaments: great idea, and very interesting results.
Second, I appreciate your optimism in defining Rybka 4 as Rybka 4.0. I really hope you are right in expecting a bugfix, but... :? :?

Thanks for your support!

To be honest, the only reason I call Rybka 4 for "4.0" is that I want coherent names in TCEC.
For example, Critter 0.90 is "0.9" etc.

If we'll ever see a Rybka 4.1? Well, I don't know. I doubt it.

Best Regards,
Martin

Stockfish 2.0 has replaced the 1.9.1 version.

I got a few results from blitz(zz!)games between Deep Saros and other top engines ( 2m+3 sec in my ancient Pentium M). The feeling that I got is that he is quite strong, at least in very short times...
I would plan to test him now on my i7. Did anybody else find that he is worth of a try?

Hi Martin,

With Firefox 3.6.13 no board pieces will apperars .

Code: Select all

If you have problems viewing the board pieces you will need to select either Large or Small from the logo menu.
This only have to be done once, after that the board pieces will always be visible.

Thanks to Miguel Ballicora of Gaviota engine for making me aware of this.
Use the Large or Small button doesn't help. Clear Cache, nothing appears.

With IE seems all ok.

I actually managed to post the Division II tables in the wrong thread.

CarstenL,

I am sorry to hear that, there should be no problems now by following the explanation you quoted.
I have tested with Chrome, Opera, Firefox and IE 8.

Can you right-click the red X or blank image where the board pieces are supposed to be displayed and paste the URL (link) to the image here when you click properties?
This must be a cache issue as all other users have gotten the board pieces to show after doing a refresh and/or by clicking the Small or Large button.

Best Regards,
Martin
