Match halted due to a time control bug (again). Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully it will be resumed around noon.

What was the reason for you to switch from Deep Fritz 12 GUI to ChessGUI ?
For me Fritz GUI looks more stable than ChessGUI.
Less/No Time control bug's.

btw. great work you are doing

Thanks! Let me see:

DF 12 has no way of output anything else automatically than a html document with moves. At least not that I know of.
It can't send the "time left" comment and Chessbase has a near non-existing customer support. Their database system is
very unfriendly when it comes to modifications and it's very vulnerable if the GUI crashes.

Matthias of ChessGUI has, on the other hand, already implemented several things that I've suggested, like a LivePgn with evals from white point of view.
The fact that he has fixed the surfacing bugs within ~8 hours, sometimes within half an hour says it all. :)

Right now the version I am using isn't public (it shouldn't be long) and it's a very, very nice piece of software. It has no bugs that I know of, at least no bugs that are affecting the current match.

Hope this helps!

Here is a paradox:

the fastest way for a user to fix bugs in free software is to use the software. :D

Cheers,
Matthias.
