4 cpu ponder=off Q6600 2.4Ghz 3gb ram Win xp 32 bit all matches on Arena.
128hash tc=0+3s
using mfl modified 30 position suite:
IvanHoe_57a2_w32_SSE2_JR - Rybka 4 w32 : 31.0/60 17-15-28 (=010===11==1=1==11011=00==01====0==1===10000===0=1=01100=1=1) 52%
using nunn 20 positions tc=0+6s
IvanHoe_57a2_w32_SSE2_JR - Rybka 4 w32 : 20.5/40 5-4-31 (====0=====0==========1=1==0===0=1=11====) 51%
using silver suite 50 positions tc=0+3s
IvanHoe_57a2_w32_SSE2_JR - Rybka 4 w32 : 52.0/100 24-20-56 (====1=1=0111=110=1=10=01====00=10====11=0======00=0====0=01=0==1===1========1=1===0==01000==1==11101 ) 52%
R4 used 3,4, and select 5 man tablebases Ivaa2 has NO robbobases set! 32 pawn hash.
The answer is not clear, but it looks from further testing that the followup compiles like a4, and t55 are not as strong as a2 on 32 bit ...but more testing needed. .Also stay tuned for firebird1.1 custom setting with slight lead over r4 .. will post results when finished.
So who is #1? -- The answer is not entirely clear and results vary by system, timecontrol etc.
But one thing is certain Rybka 4 is NOT undisputed short time control champion -- the 40/4 winner is not yet clear.
