Breaking News - 24.04.2024:
Current championship ended...congrats and many thanks to all!
Via this update, 2 books played and they performed very good!
As same words are going for all rest of current book players..!!
Especially TURKEY (as HCAN) was as serious opponent to be
Next Number One, but it seems both were not lucky..or perhaps
Newer stronger opening lines, ideas are required..who knows?)
Yes..this time Unicarnio is said the last word! But however don't
Take too seriously the results.. just fun tour...no more.. no less!

Breaking News - 30.04.2024:
The latest both TURKEY versions are highly based on OPTIMUS 2401,
Rather I'd say simply as clone.. sad indeed.. and for these reasons,
The gained Champion titles are going to Mr. Roger Constantinesco!
On other hand, I am very surprised that Gokturk Goker is preferred
To clone, imitate others work, ideas..and what I can say more over,
It's much better to fail in originality than to be successful in cloning!
Once more I'd like say, No One can be on Top by the work of others!
And let's hope to see more original ideas..if nothing else to be fair!

Btw,
Nowadays I'm busy... but when I will have more free time,
I hope to organize new book and eng competitions as well

As main difference between them is that
Both TURKEY books prefer 1. e4 e5, but what about rest?
Frankly, there is no much difference..at least I could not see..

Be aware of that too,

Clone books are not allowed..just in case, there will be ban !!

Not very surprised because some false "book makers" do not publish public, as they know the real book maker will see marked lines. OPTIMUS series have 2 lines of 20 moves inside it, that are never played :

1. h3 h6 2. h4 h5 3. g3 g6 4. g4 g5 5. gxh5 gxh4 6. f3 f6 7. f4 f5 8. e3 e6 9. e4 e5 10. fxe5 fxe4 11. d3 d6 12. d4 d5 13. c3 c6 14. c4 c5 15. cxd5 cxd4 16. b3 b6 17. b4 b5 18. a3 a6 19. a4 a5 20. bxa5 bxa4

Same structure 20 moves line at opposite side of the board : 1. a3 a6 2. a4 a5 etc.

Merging books to make it "bigger" and/or modifying first 2 plies takes around 1-2 minutes. So easy.

It's not the first time, it will not be the last, unfortunately. That's why I look for more public book rankings separate from private book rankings, even if they are all in same tour.

Just my 2 cents more over these issues:

Cloning of others work is a cheap, but a very wrong way! and
All happens due to passion to be NUMBER ONE, no more no less!
Actually would be much better if if there was apologize by him..
But for this... it is required to be a man !

And this is also true, these kind of brains forget that
There is also BIG risk to be recognized (as clone work..)
And now, I wonder he is still NUMBER ONE or not ?)

As I stated earlier..even if my son...I'd prefer to
Say the true..in my mentality as 1st come the truth,

Btw, a few more words about TURKEY's book author:
He contacted Me (before sharing the proof - books)
Where he tried his best to say something like that
I cloned OPTIMUS books )) really as shocking news ))
And to be more serious, he tried to say such as:
He is innocent..his both books are 100% original etc
Even he blamed Me that I'm completely wrong such as
I have no any right to take out his Champion tittles..
Really strange arrogant behaviors by him...exc. that
He is not as honest author..I wish to say also that
If we look more carefully at his actions, after all:
He tried to fool all Computer chess community e.g:

1st. Tournament Manager (Me) and here I'm very affected..
Because I spend really BIG efforts..for what ? to show
Fake authors work as NUMBER ONE ? this is not acceptable..

2nd. SedatChess visitors, No One has right to fool them..

3rd. Openchess + Goi forum members.. and plus many

It's impossible all people to be fair...

Yes you are very experienced in this area (in recognizing...)

And as far as I know,
Not once, not two.. at least 3 times your books are cloned...

Sure cloning can not be acceptable....but reality is reality,
Nowadays your public books become as trend to be cloned!
Actually in same time..you have to be proud...really...!!

BTW, I can summarize all over something like that:
(I mean what TURKEY's book author is tried...),
A stolen 'white' MERCEDES is painted into 'red' color,
As extra are added/changed the lights etc..after all:
The owner of 'red' MERCEDES claims simply such as:
His automobile is already as own (not stolen) hehe ))

Ok... that's all for now...exc. even at these days,
Where I have to do other work.. I am here again..)
But no any regret..just for Computer Chess's progress!

Thank you Sedat for your passion in Chess world, spending hours on organizing big tournaments.
As you noticed, I analyze every wins to discover new "gold nuggets" lines.
I also like when you distinguish private and public books in your rankings.
Hopefully vast majority of private books comes from book makers that spend hours on there books, some are even from professionals (DON, 1337, Goi etc.) and that makes your work highly respected for book makers. I tried to make very little tours and it monopolizes my PC for to many days for me, that I had to stop them. I just imagine hundreds of days spend since you began organizing big tournaments.
