Any idea how upcoming AMD BULLDOZER will Fritzmark?

Just curious what the opinions are right now on the performance of the forthcoming AMD BULLDOZER CPUs.

The 8-core(!) BULLDOZER flagship should be monstrous for chess engines like the Fritzmark.

Thanks

The AMD Bulldozer will undoubtedly do better at computer chess, in general. It won't do well on the Fritz benchmark because the Fritz benchmark is highly tailored towards the Intel processors. This is why the Intel chips always have better benchmark results - at the expense of the AMD chips. The Fritz benchmark falsely shows AMD processors as super-slow.

For best results, test both Intel and AMD processors on a neutral benchmark utility.

I've heard that several times now, that the Fritzmark is biased in favor of Intel chips to the detriment of AMD's cpu.

Does the Fritzmark use Intel-specific commands that give Intel CPUs and unfair advantage over those of AMD? How else could the Fritzmark be biased?

Thanks

PS This bias also makes the Fritzmark performance of the cheap 6-core AMD Phenom II X6 even that much more impressive, no?

Komodo might run well on it :?
... the 2nd generation is to be scheduled for 2012. AMD currently refers to this as Enhanced Bulldozer.
This new generation of Bulldozer core will be incorporated into specific desktop and notebook markets:
* Desktop Performance market: Zambezi will be replaced by Komodo. (The latter is only available in 8-core form.)
