Question: How To Merge Opening Books in CB?

Hello,

I have Chessbase 8.0 and I would like to merge several opening book files in .ctg format into one opening book in .ctg format.

How do I do this? I tried drag and drop and the help menu, but there does not seem to be easy was to do it.

Hi Sean,
You can do it under the Fritz 10,11 or 12 GUI:
Edit/Opening book/Import book....

But be aware of the results as the merging procedure has it's own twisted unpredictable results....

Use drag and drop in CB or ctrl+c to copy and Ctrl+v to paste or edit-copy and edit-paste
I am talking from memory so I might be wrong .
Please let me know if it works
