A couple of posts deleted from the Rybka forum

Not surprising. This thread has been edited, such that my explanation of Ed's misleading data is no longer available. Since plenty of insults remain, I don't believe that's the reason.
EDIT: thread title changed to less sensationalist description of what happened.

What was edited out of the thread?

The entire thing was removed, according to TheHug, "a moderator" removed it for insults. While I agree that my tone isn't very friendly, the content is accurate. Maybe "howling monkeys" goes too far, but it's inspecific.

I doubt your tone is the issue. Else a Rybka fan-boy moderator could just as easily removed the word "monkey" from your post but leaves the rest of your posts visible for all to see, read, and weigh facts. Remember, Insults /Ignore-list /censorship / banning are usually the modus operandi of Rybka forum/moderators when evidence/truth can't be confuted.
Never mind the fact that caricature characters such as Banned for Life, Arriere Pensee, Joren Nooman etc. are clearly clueless & incapable of understanding the issues. The likes of these don't have anything technical or intellectual to contribute, other than run their [insults] mouths night and day.
Clearly insults, "assuming" you did, aren't what warrants censorship here. It has more to do with you touching on the truth of the matter and exposing Ed, Soren Sii & co. for the sham they are.

I've decided to take a step back from this -- clearly it's upsetting me too much. I stand behind what I've written, and I continue to feel strongly that there's a great deal of cynicism involved in the argumentation of the pro-Rybka side, but it's not worth getting so worked up about. Ed has injured my respect for him, but he seems to believe what he's written and what he claims, and I have no need of enemies, and really no time for this.
Furthermore, this site is not about me, and by writing so vocally and abrasively, I am causing the sort of disturbance that I would generally try to moderate down. So, consider this a little bit of self-moderation, with my best wishes.

While I might agree with Prima that tone or adjective wasn't the issue here, it didn't help. You can search the forum and see insults upon insults laced at Bob. Selective moderation turns people off. I stopped posting there long ago due to censorship.

Out of interest, I can tell you that one of the "senior" members on the Rybka forum, a man who describes himself as a "friend of Vas", told me that I was "a bit of shit" and to "crawl back into the arse out of which I came". The fact that gives it interest is that one of the moderators gave the comments legitimacy by replying to the post that contained them.

The difference:
The post with insults towards bob wasn't reported.
The post that Jeremy posted was reported.
See the difference? I'd say it's lazy moderation, as they only pay attention to what is reported, but I'd not say it's selective.
Report a post with an insult towards bob, if nothing is done about it, then I'll agree. But you can't make accusations of that kind without checking it.

Well put, Kingliveson, considering Rybka moderators THEMSELVES are the ones initiating and doing the name-calling.
Words like
sh*t,
mother f*cker,
ass h*le,
idiot,
stupid,
retard,
senile,
i don't give a f*ck,
Hyattian Kangaroo court, etc comes to mind. Banned for Life & Lukas Cinmiotti are 2 notorious moderators, I can recall at this point in time, using such fouls words/languages. Ditto for Joeren Noman. So their so-call "moderation" is hypocrisy.
While selective moderation is highly practiced in Rybka forum, some practice
Selective Observations of said Selective Moderation. These go hand in hand.

It has to be either Lukas Cinmiotti or Banned for Life. Exhibition of such vile, unrefined, low-intellectual behavior and/or dialogue is typical characteristics of these two Rybka moderators.
