Message For JcMaTe
Nice to add you to my list of admirers. It is not important what you say about me. The only problem I have is that you may be a regular member here, you may be a mod, you may be the president of a country. But it is like someone calling me on the phone, and it says "unavailable", and I listen to him telling me what an ass I am, and he knows me, but I have no idea who the person is I am listening to. He refuses to come out of his disguise. And I pretty much know why. Are you like this person, or do you have the character to at least tell me the real name of who I am talking to? If nothing else, it would be fair. Forgive me for being stuck on the "unavailable caller" analogy, and I know it was NOT YOU who did it. Based on the personality traits I can gather from reading some of you threads. Vitriolic at times- possibly. This low-no way, not your style. I guess way too many people know my real name and even exactly where I live. The same morning earlier this week when someone decided to attack me here using a different method I mostly just let it go. What I have not altogether let go is the phone call same day in which my wife was told that if I ever posted on another chess forum, she would "be dead within a week." I don't notify authorities, as that is not my style. At any rate, it would be appreciated if I knew your name when you speak of me. I would have rathered to message you and keep all this private, but I am not allowed to PM.
All the Best,

You probably can PM now -- after two posts without "incident" (e.g. spam), the account should be completely open. Let me know if that's not the case -- there are some safeguards in place to neutralize spammers before they cause too much trouble.geotsp8 wrote:Nice to add you to my list of admirers. Thanks Jeremy. Look, the best I can tell you is when I try to put the mouse on a member's name or your name, (that's the only way I have ever pmd) I don't get the hand with the finger pointing on the name. But just the same vertical line as always so far. Maybe I do not use the correct procedure. As Graham is fond of saying, sometimes you have to take my hand and lead me across the street.

For the record, I get the same line. To send a PM message I have to click the PM button, and I think it is normal.geotsp8 wrote:Thanks Jeremy. Look, I don't know if it matters to you or not, But after jb changed whatever he did, all i have to do is put my mouse on your name and click, and it takes me straight to your profile so I can pm. It doesn't really matter "how" as long as we both get there. But you might check with him, because your way may take longer. I have no idea, because I don't quite follow what you are saying. *Note now that I am not talking about what I do after I get to your profile. I talking about what I must do TO GET THERE. Now once I get there, naturally I click on the PM button.
