He has not asked for money for Houdini, and has responded to feedback in short order as the fix for the MPV bug in version 1.03 shows. Some commercial authors have been much worse at costumer feedback (eg the Rybka 3 bug fix fiasco).

So please Robert, ignore the noisy few and accept the thanks of those of us who appreciate your work.

A public thanks and a public warning to Robert Houdart

A public thanks for Houdini
but also a public warning
for not giving due credits to Robbolito authors.

A while back before the very first appearance of Houdini, computer chess fans were hoping someone will improve the strongest single processor chess engine and make it multiprocessor....Robert has done exactly this 8-)

Cordially,

Whats wrong Sean you still sore from the previous thread when Robert made you look stupid ?

But I guess opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, but they don't want to hear what the others have to say!

Well, thanks Robert for Houdini.

Opinions are like armpits. Everybody has more than one and they usually stink.
Forget about the criticism.

@That guy wanting a Houdini GUI:
I'm programming a chess GUI in my spare time (written in Java), I dunno when I'll release it (I don't work on it much), but you can be sure it will happen.

Wow, I wish I had come up with that. :-)

All I can say is, ME TOO!

Thanks against, Robert, for the #1 chess engine in the world, and free to boot!
