ChessGUI Bug (Testsuites)

Post by Matthias Gemuh » Sun Mar 20, 2011 2:02 pm

ChessGUI Bug (Testsuites)

ChessGUI has a bug that affects the scoring of testsuites.
Discard, therefore, all STS Testsuites results got by using ChessGUI.
A bugfix is unlikely to be released within one week.

Sorry for your wasted time  .

No problem, Mathias.

Looking forward to the new one. I'll re-test the engines that were tested with ChessGUI. (Bobcat and Critter)

Best,

ChessGUI 0.217 fixes the bug.

I found a bug in STS_Tool that affects the estimation of Elo based on scores.
The bug does not affect STS_Tool.ini, nor html results.
The tool shall be updated when ChessGUI is next updated.
